We’re delighted to announce that we have completed a six-figure project to install striking exterior signage at a newly opened Marks & Spencer store in Stevenage.
We designed, manufactured, and installed over a dozen eye-catching signs at the retailer’s new 10,000 square metre store, which is located on the Roaring Meg Retail Park and set to create up to 150 jobs.
These included 10 logo signs, with the biggest of these being almost three metres tall and eight meters wide, along with three triangular totem signs that highlight the key departments that sit within the store.
The store which was a former Debenhams site opened on Thursday 28th April. It marks the latest chapter in a three-decade long partnership that has seen Widd Signs create and install branded signage at dozens of M&S stores.
Last month, the company created and installed exterior signage at the retailer’s Victoria Place store in Woking, which recently opened for business as part of a £700m regeneration scheme in the town centre.
Rory Campbell-Pilling, group head of operations at Widd Signs, said:
“We’re proud to serve as a trusted supplier to M&S. It’s a role that has seen us design and install signage at their stores all over the world over the last three decades, and we were delighted to once again have the opportunity to showcase the breadth of our industry-leading capabilities at their Stevenage site.”
