Welcome Back: Becca Galea Returns to Widd Signs
From Reception to World Explorer
At Widd Signs, we often say our strength lies in our people – and sometimes, those people find their way back to us, bringing with them a wealth of new experiences and perspectives. That’s exactly the case with Becca Galea, who has rejoined our team as a Project Manager after going on travels which took her across the globe.
A Journey of Growth and Discovery
Becca’s story with Widd Signs began working on our reception and supporting the commercial team, where she played a key role in our day-to-day operations. Her journey since then has been varied from exploring Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, and Fiji to developing her expertise in project and events management across both the charitable sector and signage industry.
The Pull of Strong Culture
“I had always hoped to return,” Becca shares. “My early memories of Widd were of how well everyone worked together and how easy it was to fit in. Coming back, it’s wonderful to see how much the company has evolved and grown while still having that same supportive, client-focused culture.”
Bringing Projects to Life
For Becca, project management is about bringing various elements together to create meaningful outcomes for clients. “Seeing the transformation from ideas and plans to the finished product is fantastic,” she explains. “I love working on projects that really matter to clients and require genuine care and attention.”
Fresh Perspectives on Sustainability
Her global experience and diverse project portfolio bring fresh perspectives to our team, particularly as we continue to expand our sustainability initiatives – an area Becca is passionate about developing further.
Adventure Meets Expertise
Beyond her professional expertise, Becca brings an adventurous spirit to our team. An avid mountain climber, she embodies the kind of determination and goal-oriented mindset that drives our project success. She’s already looking forward to participating in Widd’s social and charitable events, bringing her experience from the charitable sector to strengthen our community involvement.
Looking to the Future
“It has felt so natural to be back,” Becca reflects. “While there are new faces and expanded operations, there are enough familiar elements that make it feel like coming home. I’m excited to be part of Widd’s evolution and to contribute to new initiatives.”
