Introduction
Widd Signs was formed in 1888 by Arthur Widd. We’re proud of our rich history and think Arthur would be too so we’re bringing him back in cartoon format!
Join us in a fun and exciting ‘Where’s Wally’ style challenge on the last Wednesday of each month to find Arthur and become a #WiddWinner, with a £50 donation going to a charity of the winner’s choice each month.
Here’s all you need to know to get involved and those important Terms and Conditions:
By participating in the competition, you are agreeing to these competition terms and conditions.
The competition is being run by Widd Signs.
Eligibility to Enter
The competition is open to entrants who are at least 18 years of age or older. Widd Signs employees and associates are excluded from the draw.
By entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and that you are eligible to receive any prizes that may be awarded to you.
The competition will run each month. There is a limit of one entry per person each month and the competition is completely free to enter.
To be eligible to enter, simply comment on the challenge image on LinkedIn to let us know you’ve found Arthur (but don’t give the game away to others!)
The Prize
The winning prize will be £50 in your name donated to a charity of your choice.
The winning charity must be a charity registered in the UK with the Charity Commission.
The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable, and no cash alternatives will be provided.
We reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond our control require doing so.
Widd Signs’ decision on any aspect of the competition is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
Winner Announcement
The competition will go live on the last Wednesday of each month.
Entries close the following Wednesday at 12pm.
The winner will be chosen at random by a random name generator and notified via LinkedIn messages the following week of the competition.
Widd Signs and/or its PR partner MacComms will make two attempts to contact the winner via LinkedIn.
If the winner does not respond to the messages informing them of their win within 14 days of the second email, they forfeit their right to the prize, and Widd Signs reserves the right to select and notify a new winner.
Delivery of the Prize
The winner will allow 14 days for the prize donation to be made to the winner’s chosen charity.
Data Protection and Publicity
You agree that any personal information that you provide when entering the competition will be used by Widd Signs for the purposes of administering the competition and for other purposes as specified in our Privacy Policy.
If requested by Widd Signs, the winner agrees to release their first name and place of employment on its marketing platforms including Widd Signs’ website and social media channels.
